Therapeutic Indications:

Alopecia diffusa (diffusa hair loss)

Mechanism of Action:

Dexpanthenol is an alcohol derivative of pantothenic acid, a component of the B complex vitamins and an essential component of a normally functioning epithelium.

Method of Administration:

The doctor prescribes how much to take, but the usual dose for adults is as follows:

1 or 2 ampoules 3 times a week, as intramuscular injection.

Overdose: There is no particular risk of excessive consumption of dexpanthenol, consult your doctor about this.

Notes

Contraindications:

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to dexpanthenol or any other ingredients of this medicine.

Avoid taking this medicine if you have bowel obstruction.

Interactions:

Talk to your doctor if you take any other medicines.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine during pregnancy and breast feeding

Warning and Precaution:

Excessive amounts of several grams per day can cause diarrhea.

Adverse Reactions:

Very rare side effects (may affect less than 1 in 10,000 people):

Allergic reactions include redness, hives, and edema (swelling of the face that may lead to respiratory problems) and bronchial spasm.

Storage:

Store below 30 and protect from light and moisture.
