Biotin (Vitamin H)

Mechanism of Action:
Biotin is necessary for the proper functioning of enzymes that transport carboxyl units and fix carbon dioxide, and is required for various metabolic functions, including gluconeogenesis, lipogenesis, fatty acid biosynthesis, propionate metabolism, and catabolism of branched-chain amino acids.
Method of Administration:
The doctor prescribes how much to take, but the usual dose for adults is as follows:
1 or 2 ampoules, 3 times a week, as intramuscular injection. The duration of treatment is determined by the physician’s opinion.
Overdose: There is no particular risk of excessive consumption of biotin, consult your doctor about this.

Contraindications:
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to biotin (vitamin H) or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Interactions:

Pregnancy and Lactation:
Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine during pregnancy and breast feeding.
Pregnancy:
For precaution measures, it is advisable not to take this drug during pregnancy.
Breast feeding:
Due to the lack of available information, it is not advisable to take this drug during breast feeding.
Warning and Precaution:
Excessive consumption of biotin causes excessive sweating, unusual urination, mild nausea, stomachache and diarrhea.
Adverse Reactions:
Signs of allergic-like hypersensitivity, principally skin allergies (urticaria, angioedema, itchiness) have been reported.
Storage:
Store below 30 and protect from light and moisture.
